We specialize in all types of restoration work. With a large part of it to domestic houses, listed buildings, churches and town halls through out England. Below is a small section of some of the restoration work we have carried out recently.

Restoration of an old gothic style wall. Due to the extent of the damage we had to strip the wall and replace as new.

Insitu Cornice Work

Some examples of a small insitu job,

This photo shows the timber running rules for the constructed running mound to run the core of the cornice around the room in sand lame/cement

This shows how the mitres look before finish off with specialist tools

This picture shows how one side of the wall has a sloped ceiling and the cornice had to be made bigger on one side for the miter to joint in on a slope

A close up picture of the 2 different size cornices miterd together. This is an unusual room with a sloped ceiling requiring us to run 2 dirrerent sized insitu moulds and then running them together on the slope.

Restoration of a 5 foot diameter Ceiling rose

The ceiling rose had a damaged lattice egg & dart section which we recreated seperatley then restored on to the ceiling rose.
