Plasterwrx |
The
history of decorative plasterwork is legendary and can still
be seen in many period and historical properties. Methods
and materials have been handed down over centuries from
craftsman to apperntice, and mixed with modern technology
to product better qualty results.
Plasterwrx is a specialist solid and fibrous plastering
company established in 1995 to provide a professional service
for both domestic and commercial building projects, also
offering a supply only service.
Contracts
are undertaken throughout the UK using our wide range of
plaster ware, manufactured under commision by our own skilled
craftsmen to any design specified.

Graystock is the award winning proprietor of plasterwrx
and has rapidly achieved a record of excellence since leaving
school in 1991, including:

Prize Winner 1st year plastering

- Gold
Medallist in the 'Skillbuild National Skills Final',
winning the title of 'Best Plasterer in the UK' in
his age group and resulting in selection for the 'UK
Skills Team' to compete in the 'Youth Skills Olympics'
- City
& Guilds Medal of Excellence winner. The silver
medal being the highest possible award at NVQ level

- 1995
- Gold
Medal Winner in 33rd International World Skills Olympics
held in Lyon, France. Over 500 competitors were involved
representing 28 countries in more than 40 trades
- 1996
- Yorkshire
Television Young Achiever Award - The arts award college
special award. Governors Shield, for outstanding contribution
to college and community.
- 1997
- Queen
Elizabeth Scholarship Trust medal winner.
- 2000
- Appointed
as Skillbuild Technical Expert in plastering, which
involves organising competitions in plastering for
the UK finals.
- Appointed
UK Skills Technical Expert in plastering, involving
the training and preparation of the winner of the
Skillbuild National Finals to take part in the International
World Skills Olympics, held every two years.
